Phoenix Publishing and Media Group participates in the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair.
Phoenix Publishing and Media Group has leveraged the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), which was held in Beijing from June 17 to 21, to further expand its international influence by showcasing its innovative achievements in the publishing field.
It brought more than 1,700 books and creative cultural products from 14 enterprises it owns to the book fair, which attracted over 1,700 exhibitors from 82 countries and regions, and won the outstanding organization award for its active participation.
During the event, Phoenix Media set up a dedicated exhibition section to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the opening of the Tokyo Trials, showcasing translated works on the Nanjing Massacre. The group underscored its publishing prowess with a special exhibition area focusing on books regarding Chinese philosophy and social sciences.

Capitalizing on the book fair, Phoenix Media introduced 30 sub-brands to a global audience to strengthen the group's international influence. The group also demonstrated an upgraded online-offline service model for overseas readers, and hosted 15 major publishing events, which garnered significant attention.
It held high-level talks with leading international publishing houses like Taylor & Francis Group and Springer Nature to fortify long-term collaboration.

During the event, Xu Hai, Phoenix Media's editor-in-chief, participated in the 2026 International Publishing Forum, and had a dialogue with industry leaders from Sri Lanka and Lebanon on marketing for the publishing industry under the Belt and Road Initiative. Song Jishu, president of Phoenix Media, accepted an interview from The Bookseller.
Phoenix Media hosted 15 key events during the book fair, including the signing ceremonies for the export copyright for the book titled Global South: China's Perspective in multiple languages and the English edition of Sumerian Civilization.
Throughout the fair, Phoenix Media engaged in extensive discussions with international exhibitors, including Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, and Cengage Learning, on academic publishing and copyright cooperation. It conducted over 100 copyright trade negotiations, reaching more than 160 agreements and intentions for non-Chinese-language copyrights, further enhancing its international footprint.
