Phoenix Media debuts special events for China's first 'National Reading Week'

The Phoenix Publishing and Media Group hosted over 40 engaging events, both online and offline, to celebrate China's first National Reading Week from April 20 to 26.
The activities ranged from intimate sessions with renowned authors to immersive interactive experiences, offering participants a chance to delve into the world of literature alongside cultural icons.
One of the highlights of the events was a dialogue between Bi Feiyu, vice-chairman of the China Writers Association, and Xu Hai, editor-in-chief of Phoenix Media, on April 28 at Phoenix International Bookstore in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province, with their discussions focused on the intersections of sports, culture and literature, with particular emphasis on the Jiangsu Football City League.
Other notable events include the Cloud Reading Sharing activity, where readers can discuss 13 carefully selected books representing the 13 cities of Jiangsu.
Phoenix Media also emphasizes youth engagement through an event where young participants perform classic readings, showcasing their lively energy and connection to literature. Meanwhile, the Into the Birds, Into Nature lecture series aims to foster a love for nature through engaging talks on bird ecology.
This week-long celebration of reading promises to inspire and connect readers across all ages, nurturing a lifelong love for books and knowledge.
