Phoenix Education Publishing and Cengage Asia, a subsidiary of Cengage Group, held a signing ceremony for various cooperation agreements during the Beijing International Book Fair on June 19, further expanding collaboration in the publishing field.

As a globally renowned publishing group with rich resources in language education and teaching, United States-based Cengage Group collaborates closely with renowned institutions, with its subsidiary, Cengage Learning, ranking 16th worldwide in the industry.

In his address, Mike Cahill, general manager of Cengage Asia, expressed the high regard Cengage Group holds for its partnership with Phoenix Education Publishing. He highlighted the significant achievements made by the two sides over the past few years and expressed excitement at the prospect of bringing more high-quality content to global readers.

Fan Ming, head of Phoenix Education Publishing, said that the 59 book varieties previously collaborated on with Cengage Group had shown excellent economic benefits and social impact, leading to the expansion of the Phoenix Publishing and Media Group's international business. Under this new agreement, the two parties will not only collaborate on new book varieties but also establish the Phoenix-NGL Selection Research Institute to cooperate in aspects such as teacher training and teaching research, providing better services for English teachers and learners in China.

Erik Gundersen, school product manager of Cengage National Geographic Learning, elaborated on the significant value of the new book series being published, emphasizing the innovative significance of new book varieties like Reflect Listening & Speaking and Pathways for global audiences. He highlighted how these books will provide more diverse and higher-quality learning resources for English learners worldwide.
