Phoenix Publishing and Media Group, or PPMG, attended the 30th Beijing International Book Fair at the Beijing's National Convention Center from June 19 to 23.
PPMG and its 15 subsidiaries showcased more than 1,500 kinds of books at the group's 420-square-meter exhibition area, which includes a main booth and a booth for children's books.
PPMG displayed its high-quality publications over the years as well as major publications overseas such as the Jiangsu: Literature and Scholars Translated series and the Symbols of Jiangsu series.

During the five-day event, PPMG also carried out over 150 negotiations with overseas publishing groups and copyright agencies, making possible the export of rights to 126 books or series to non-Chinese-speaking countries.
The rights include those for the English, Turkish, Kirghiz, and Korean editions of Up into the Sky, while the rights for Trailing the Giant Panda will be exported to India and Kazakhstan and that of the Shining Youth series will be exported to Mongolia, India, and Canada.

The rights for Bomba and Classical Private Gardens of China will be exported to Russia and Australia, respectively, while that of Selected Readings on Chinese Civilization and My Uncle Zhou Enlai: A Memoir will be exported to Turkiye.
The rights for the Gold Mountains • Me and Nature series will be exported to five countries including the United Kingdom, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia, while rights for The Village has Changed in the series will be exported to 11 countries including Italy, Vietnam and Nepal.
