People participate in the 2023 Library Collection Trade Fair.

The 2023 Library Collection Trade Fair was held in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, on July 1 as part of the 13th Jiangsu Book Fair.

More than 500 publishers were invited to participate. They exhibited nearly 160,000 kinds of books in total, including books published in 2022 and 2023 and those suitable for collection.

The exhibited books include those on social sciences, literature, art, technology, life, and education, as well as children's books.

The trade fair was organized by the Publishers Association of China and Phoenix Publishing and Media Group this year.

Wang Liming, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the Publishers Association of China, said in an interview with Modern Express that the association cooperated with PPMG to hold the trade fair because the group is a publishing powerhouse and chose Jiangsu because of the province's flourishing cultural industry.
