A symposium on the publication of the National Cultural Park Biographical Series was held in Beijing on May 15.
The symposium was sponsored by the Committee on Culture, Historical Data and Studies of the CPPCC National Committee and organized by the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage, Yellow River Institute of Hydraulic Research, and Phoenix Publishing and Media Group.
Biography of the Great Wall, Biography of the Yellow River, and Biography of the Long March are unveiled at the symposium.
The National Cultural Park consists of the Great Wall National Cultural Park, the Grand Canal National Cultural Park, the Long March National Cultural Park, the Yellow River National Cultural Park, and the Yangtze River National Cultural Park.
The national park is considered an important Chinese cultural attraction.
The National Cultural Park Biographical Series is on display at the symposium.
The biographical series, which includes Biography of the Great Wall, Biography of the Long March, and Biography of the Yellow River, uses words and photos to introduce China's unique cultural landmarks and familiarize more readers with the story of the National Cultural Park.
Biography of the Grand Canal was published last year and was named Book of the Year in 2022.
