Yu Yue (1821-1907) was a renowned scholar and educator in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and played a key role in revitalizing China Studies.

It took nearly 10 years to compile the Complete Works of Yu Yue, which consists of 32 books of nearly 10 million Chinese characters and is a systematic presentation of Yu's academic thoughts and literary works.
