Phoenix Publishing and Media Group has delivered 146 million textbooks to schools in Jiangsu province before the new semester begins.

The group has succeeded delivering textbooks to local schools for the past 44 years.

Faced with difficulties including delayed printing, continuous scorching weather, and sporadic outbreaks of COVID-19, PPMG drew out a proper plan for textbook printing to ensure timely delivery.

Jiangsu Phoenix Xinhua Printing Group Co Ltd, a major subsidiary of PPMG for textbook printing, also set up a working group responsible for textbook printing.

This year, Jiangsu Xinhua Distribution Group distributed more than 97,000 parcels per day on average, with the highest being 120,000 parcels. The daily number of parcels arriving at the group's branch companies doubled year-on-year.

In addition, PPMG's warehouses for textbooks in 78 counties in Jiangsu were capable of receiving parcels around the clock.

On Sept 7, both the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and People's Education Press sent a letter of thanks to PPMG to express their gratitude to the employees.
