Nanjing-based publishing giant Phoenix Publishing and Media Group hosted a seminar on July 28, inviting experienced publishers to discuss digital publishing.

Revolving around topics such as the metaverse, digital collection, artificial intelligence, and virtual characters, the eight publishers explored the integration of technology and publication.

Hu Jianbin, president of PPMG, said that digitalization is the only certainty in this uncertain era and the company will set up a team to sort out key research problems and invest heavily in the promotion of digital publishing.

Hu added that the company will also bring in and cultivate more professional talent in digital publishing.
