Nanjing-based publishing giant Phoenix Publishing & Media Group's integrated development think tank was recently named one of 16 publishing institutions that will receive guidance from the National Press and Publication Administration.

The 16 listed institutions were selected from 157 applicants based on their strength, many publications, and contributions to society.

These institutions have been dedicated to publishing works related to theory, policy, and practice and have played a positive role in theoretical innovation, social services and international exchange.

PPMG's integrated development think tank is built on the PPMG Integrated Development Laboratory and focuses on the application of crucial technologies and the development of innovative products in publication.

The think tank has completed research involving the digital strategy and deep integrated development of publication and the integrated publication of journals, promoted the opening of the first Publishing Industry New Media Development Forum in China.

It also cooperated with Nanjing University to establish the laboratory for intelligent publication and knowledge service for the National Press and Publication Administration and published digital textbooks, an intelligent proofreading system, a periodical subscription platform, and the mobile application Phoenix Books.
