Jiangsu-based publishing giant Phoenix Publishing and Media Group has been included in the list of the top 30 cultural companies in China, according to a seminar held by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee in Shenzhen, Guangdong province on Sept 23.

In 2020, the prime operating revenue of PPMG totaled 16 billion yuan ($2.48 billion). Its retained profits and net assets amounted to 2.6 billion yuan and 38.2 billion yuan respectively that year.

There are two other Jiangsu enterprises on the list: Jiangsu Broadcasting Cable Information Network Corp Ltd and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation.
