Nanjing-based Phoenix Publishing and Media Group recently won national recognition in cultural export.

Its five subsidiaries, Phoenix Science Press Ltd, Phoenix Education Publishing Ltd, Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd, Yilin Press Ltd, and Veritas & Mercurius Publishing Co Ltd, have been recognized as key companies in cultural export by national authorities.

Two projects involving educational books exported to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as the publication of foreign language edition of Chinese books in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative have also been recognized.

The country has published catalogues of key companies and projects in cultural export every two years since 2007. All selected companies and projects performed well in telling Chinese stories and showcasing Chinese wisdom.
