Phoenix Publishing & Media Group (PPMG) launched the first Phoenix Literature Prize at the 2020 Phoenix Authors Annual Conference held in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu, on Oct 23.
The yearly literature prize will be given to original long-form works of literature written in Chinese that have never been published as a book, including full-length novels, long biographies, and long proses.
Experts will be invited to serve as judges for the literature prize.
The Phoenix Literature Prize will have three winners. A large prize of 500,000 yuan ($75,000) will be awarded to one literature work while an excellence prize of 100,000 yuan will be awarded to another two literature works.
