The German versions of a series of picture books about the fight against COVID-19 were published online during the 72nd Frankfurt Book Fair held on Oct 13 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The series, entitled Fighting Epidemic with A Child's Heart: Big Eye Heartwarming Picture Books, was originally published by Jiangsu Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd.

After the COVID-19 outbreak in China ealier this year, Jiangsu Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd organized a group of writers and illustrators to create six picture books about the fight against the epidemic.

The publishing agency expects the series to help relieve anxiety among children affected by the pandemic as well as convey a spirit of solidarity, friendship, and dedication.
