The Global Business Development Department of Jiangsu-based Phoenix Publishing & Media Group (PPMG) recently organized a copyright trade delegation to expand the group's cooperation in Malaysia and Thailand.

The delegation, which consisted of representatives from seven PPMG subsidiaries, visited the group's major cooperation partners in Malaysia, including Book City Corporation, and toured the country's four largest bookstores, including Kinokuniya and Popular.

During its visit, the delegation discussed with Book City Corporation the prospect of Chinese exhibitors participating in the upcoming 2020 Malaysia Book Fair and recommended several PPMG publications in the genres of history, academics, science, technology, and children's books.

In Thailand, the delegation introduced PPMG publications to several partners and made a number of new deals. The delegation met with several new partners as well and got a feel for their publication interests, making specific recommendations in the process.
