Phoenix Vocational Education awarded by EU Chamber of Commerce

Phoenix Vocational Education Books, the vocational publishing subsidiary of Phoenix Media, won a certificate of appreciation from the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China in Nanjing, on Nov 22.

Authorities from the Ministry of Industry and Information, the Embassy of Switzerland in China, and world-leading business association Amfori attend the award ceremony in Nanjing.

The vocational publisher's project, Phoenix Education Publication Center, was acknowledged by the jury committee as a shortlisted applicant of the 6th CSR Awards for its remarkable social contributions in terms of quality education, decent occupation, and good partner relationship.

The other nominees are mostly multinationals including DB Schenker, Siemens, Schneider, Nestle, and TUV Rheinland, with Phoenix Vocational Education Books being the only culture and publishing company.

This is the second time that Phoenix Vocational Education Books has won the award, which was initiated by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China to honor companies that make outstanding contributions to society.

Phoenix Vocational Education Books has always been committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities. In 2017, the publisher jointly established a high-end manufacturing alliance and united university and enterprise members. In 2018, the publisher started to build a R&D base in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region to support the regional vocational education industry.
