Jiangsu-based publishing giant Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc (PPM) made active contributions to the 25th Beijing International Book Fair, the largest publishing event in Asia, from Aug 22 to 26.
The publisher, along with its 16 subsidiaries, brought more than 2,000 of the latest titles, journals, and digital products to the event. Their stands were always teeming with visitors, and delivered substantial results.
More than 140 discussion sessions on copyright trade with famous overseas publishers and copyright agencies took place during the event, concluding in the signing of 100 copyright exporting deals and also being recognized by the fair's organizing committee with an "Excellent Award for Copyright Trade and Export".
A list of renowned PPM titles won the favor of Malaysian, Cambodian, Thai, and Indian publishers, including Symbol of Jiangsu, the company's bestselling Chinese-English booklet series. The parties have agreed to further cooperation.
