PPMG seeks cooperation with Vietnamese publishers
A delegation from Phoenix Publishing and Media Group (PPMG) paid a visit to Vietnam to conduct exchanges concerning copyright trading from Nov 20-24.
Headed by Ge Qingwen, president of the Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing, and Wang Ruishu, editor in chief of Phoenix Education Publishing, the delegation was made up of employees from the international development departments of Jiangsu People's Publishing, Phoenix Education Publishing, Phoenix Science Press, Phoenix Juvenile and Children’s Publishing, Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing and Yilin Press.
During their stay in the Vietnamese city of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, the delegation visited 12 major publishers and cultural organizations. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on copyright export and co-publishing.
The delegates recommended excellent publications based on the demands of the Vietnamese publishers and the two sides reached cooperation intentions on about 100 projects.
After introducing the experience of Phoenix Education Publishing in curriculum reforms, Wang Ruishu invited Vietnamese publishers to visit PPMG and jointly develop educational publications in line with each other's country's national conditions.
The delegation helped establish closer cooperation relations between PPMG and major Vietnamese publishers such as the National Political Publishing House of Vietnam.
The visit was also conducive to the export of PPMG's publications and helped lay a good foundation for PPMG's copyright export in 2018.
