The 24th Beijing International Book Fair will be held from Aug 23 to 27 at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) in Beijing.

The Beijing International Book Fair is now the world's second largest book fair. The fair serves as an important platform to showcase the achievements of China's publishing industry and to promote international cultural exchanges and cooperation.

I. A brief introduction to Phoenix Publishing and Media's exhibition

Phoenix Publishing and Media (PPM) will present more than 2,800 titles at our booths covering a combined area of 472 square meters at the fair. More than 180 staff members from 16 subsidiaries of PPM, including senior executives, directors, rights managers and editors, will attend the fair.

The main exhibition area (No. W1.C02) includes a display stand for choice publications from PPM, an exhibition wall dedicated to PPM books published in foreign languages, a special area for discussions regarding copyright trade affairs, and an event area.

II. Highlight titles

PPM sticks to the publishing idea of BOOKS FIRST AND FOREMOST. We are making efforts to rich the publications and push forward content innovation.

During the fair, PPM will showcase the latest achievements in content production in five aspects: themed publications, high-quality book projects, popular titles, books published in foreign languages and high-quality educational publications.

Themed publications on display will cover various topics such as the upcoming 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army and the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.

"Phoenix Library" book project currently consists of 378 books of 18 series. It is a representative of Phoenix Media's efforts in content production in the humanities and social sciences. Other important book projects that will be showcased at the fair include the Great Wall series (10 volumes, 12 books), A Collection of Historical Materials Relating to the Nanjing Massacre (78 volumes) and A History of Britain (6 volumes).
