2016 China-ROK Book Copyright Trade Fair
The 2016 China-ROK Book Copyright Trade Fair, co-hosted by Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc (PPM), Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea and Korean Association for Small and Medium-sized Publishers, was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu province from Sept 21 to 25.
The event attracted 19 publishing houses and joint ventures of PPM, 29 publishing houses from South Korea and publishing companies from Jiangxi, Anhui and Hebei provinces.
The five-day fair saw 22 contracts signed and more than 100 agreements of copyright selling and purchase intentions reached.
PPM achieved a new record in copyright export deals, and its publishing houses reached seven cooperation intention agreements with South Korean publishers at the fair.
In a bid to facilitate communication and exchange in the publishing industry, the fair also included a series of workshops on the prospect of co-publishing between Chinese and South Korean publishers in children’s literature, Chinese literature, and media integration.
