PPM subsidiary listed among China's top 100 printing companies
Phoenix Xinhua Printing Ltd., a subsidiary of Phoenix Publishing & Media Inc. (PPM), was listed among China's top 100 printing companies at an annual meeting for printing managers, held from Sept 1 to 3, in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province.
It was the sixth consecutive year for the company to win the title and it was ranked 45th this year, hitting a new record.
The selection of China's top 100 printing companies, launched by the China Printing Technology Association (CPTA) and the China Academy of Printing Technology (CAPT), includes all kinds of printing companies in the industry. It is currently the most authoritative ranking list in the printing industry.
Phoenix Xinhua Printing also stood out from the country's hundreds of thousands of printing companies, and won the nomination for being the best employer in China's printing industry.
Wang Yanbin, head of the printing and issuing department of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and president of CPTA, praised the company's efforts in developing a digital printing business.
Xu Xingping, general manager assistant of the company, gave a speech on smart factories and intelligent manufacturing. He discussed the feasibility of promoting fully-automated factories, starting with the printing of educational material, and mentioned plans for building smart enterprises based on the company's China Cloud Printing Platform (CCPP).
