Wang Anyi's congratulatory letter

Wang Anyi, writer and litterateur, serves as vice-chairman at the Chinese Writers' Association and a professor at Fudan University. Her masterpiece Song of Everlasting Sorrow won the fifth Mao Dun Literature Prize and her short fiction Hair Salon Fairytale won the third Lu Xun Literature Prize. In 2013, she was awarded "Ordre des Arts et des Lettres", a French honor to recognize significant contributions to the world of arts and literature, or the advancement of these fields.
