Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing Ltd., a member of the Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc. (PPM), held a launch ceremony for its new book series based on the popular cartoon film Minions at the 2015 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) on Aug 27.

Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing and Hachette-Phoenix Cultural Development (Beijing) Ltd., a joint venture by PPM and the French publishing giant Hachette Livre, are authorized by the film producer Universal Studios as the exclusive publisher and distributor of the simplified Chinese language book edition of the Minions in the mainland.

The Minions Book Series

Senior managers from PPM, Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing and Hachette-Phoenix attended the launch ceremony. The book series are dedicated to people who still retain childlike feelings and aimed at providing them with happiness and humor, according to Ge Qingwen, Editor-in-Chief of Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing Ltd.

The first seven books in the series, including Minions: Dracula's Last Birthday, Minions: The Road to Villain-Con Reusable Sticker Book, and Minions: Seek and Find will be officially in bookstores on Sept 13, the same day when Minions the film hits the screens in the mainland. Another three books are expected to be published in November.
