On May 28 in Boston, MA, the Vice President of the Phoenix Publishing & Media Group , She Jiangtao, along with other Phoenix representatives, visited the headquarters of the Cengage Learning Corp. They worked on a consensus about future cooperation.

The proposed cooperation focused mainly on English language education through geographical and cultural contexts, the rights of top books in the humanities and social sciences, in economics and politics.

The two parties have cooperated on six important works for the Cengage Gale Digital Collections, one of which is A General History of Chinese Buddhism. They will also take a look at fine arts documents for publication, apart from the existing historical titles.

Cengage Learning has a 150 years of history and has been a pioneer in education, learning and research for special areas such as junior colleges, primary and secondary schools, vocational schools, and libraries. It has annual profits of around $1.8 billion from branches in around 50 countries.
